When in 1982 when Ali Kamacioglu, the founder of Horizon was still in school, he was working every day on construction sites of different developers to earn some extra money. Over the years, he learned in detail every little step of constructing and realized quickly, that quality is a crucial element to provide high standards and the best homes. All these years as a schoolboy he imagined that one day, he will realize his dream of the perfect project himself. At this time he didn’t know how yet, but he never stopped dreaming.

As he was always a step ahead with his imaginations, he developed his first company in 1995, Kamtek LTD,  and started with high-quality water and heating systems. While this company grew, he introduced different and contemporary systems in exterior construction to provide a wide material diversity to the island, with his next company called Glasstech Trading Co. LTD. in 2005 he also brought the Daikin brand VRV World´s number 1 air conditioning systems to the island as well as the famous Vestel VRF, heat recovery and ventilation systems.

Up until today Mr. Kamacioglu is introducing the best brands and materials to the island and established various companies in order to provide the best quality and one-step-ahead products to the island;  but nevertheless, he always had his dream in the back of his head.

40 years later, after gaining a lot of knowledge and experience of working on construction sites himself and establishing his companies, he finally put his year-long dream into reality.
